Controlling Your Thoughts: Never Your Emotions

It's normal for us to get emotional about a issues or problem at work. But, why do some people get easier frustrated over the simple things? Why do people take their frustrations home, which may cause disturbance through the rest of their day and affect their family?
I learned a long time ago that the key to controlling your emotions is having control over your thoughts. If you are a person who always thinks positive about outcomes in life, most likely your feelings towards a problem will be positive. Philippians 4:8 says, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” So, the thoughts we put into our mind will determine the emotions resulting in the actions we take.
Today, I challenge each one of you to think positive. Don’t let an issue affect your mood, especially something you can’t control. If a situation arises, think positive about the outcome, Never let your emotions take control of your judgment or affect your leadership ability. Control your thoughts, never your emotions
